Oooh, if I was there, I would have stood up and given that guy (and the girl) some death glares. Can’t stand that shit, and that coming from folks who also get marginalized in society makes me angrier cause they should know better.

Hahaha I absolutely agree, I love the professor and the things I am learning in that class to death, but it pisses me off to no end that the most sexist, closed-minded people in there are the little gay boy clique. They really should know better than to say a lot of the shit they do.

I talk so much in that class that after a certain point the prof stops calling on me, so I wasn’t able to respond to Girl Who Should Know Better and inform her that class doesn’t float in some kind of raceless void where they don’t affect shape and entrap each other. But I did basically blurt out at Gay Boy “are you honestly arguing the difference between white and beige, because that is the stupidest thing. It doesn’t matter if you have some distant colored ancestor if you pass as white enough to receive the corresponding privileges for it.”

I am pretty sure there are people in that class that hate me for knowing too much and correcting them but I honestly can’t be assed to give a damn.
