Mass Effect 3 Theme - Clint Mansell

Jack Wall’s compositions were fine for the first game since it had more of a 1980s sci-fi bleepblopbloop feel, but the series has matured beyond that.
None of the Mass Effect songs tend to be things I’d put on my iPod— they’re great listening material in-game, and have less harsh and detectable loop patterns than the Dragon Age series tends to have— but they’re not like, catchy, because that’s not the point. They’re background.
Even so, listening to this just makes a faint chill of want settle in my gut… that anticipatory feeling you get waiting in the dentist’s lobby… the Reapers are coming in just a few short months, and boy, am I ever ready.
